I'm back- phew! What a crazy last month this has been. If you follow me on Instagram, you've seen the updates I've been sharing getting ready for the Remnants show. What a wonderful time that was! The one thing I regret is not taking more pictures. The only chance I had was the quiet moments before the show opened and that was time spent checking tags and trying to drink at least one cup of coffee. I mean, we're talking crowds, lines of people! It was amazing and I really met some wonderful people.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by, said hello, and shopped our space. At the end of the weekend what I took away the most was how fulling it was to my spirit to be kind, to be grateful and to share God's joy. In all things.. even at an antique show.
Now that I'm back home, I spent the first couple days letting my body rest, emptying out my DVR, and apologizing to my honey for not cooking a decent meal for the last 2 weeks. Then I turned into a cleaning tornado and whipped my house back into (almost) tip-top shape.
With the holidays coming up so quickly, it's easy for me to get unorganized, and that usually makes me feel overwhelmed. So I made these super cute zipper pouches to help at least keep the little things in place.
I'm usually running out of the house, stuffing earrings in my pockets. Instead, I've been putting my earrings in this smaller zipper pouch and no more missing, or worse - broken earrings. There's two different sizes, a larger one for things like makeup, pens, keys, cell phone.. things Im usually scrapping the bottom of my purse for. And a smaller size, for those little things that just need a safe place to go.
Here's some of the other new styles going into the shop this morning, and how I'll been using these zipper pouches.
